Didn't really like this one much... was definitely better than drowned but like I'm so confused as to why Supes was bad in this? There was no backstory explaining it, just yeah he's bad so Bruce stuck himself with the Doomsday virus... I mean he looks freaking badass but honestly that's about the only thing it's got going for it. That scene with Lois and Jon though was heartbreaking. Many feels in that moment ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
These story lines are actually awesome. I cool twist, grim and dark- not for the faint hearted. I love it how DC is setting up this universe, and potential new threads of story.
Love how this touches upon the old debate of whether Batman can defeat Superman.
Symphony Of Destruction
Don't curr what ya'll say, the tie-ins keep getting better
This ends the Batman versus Superman debate. Batman wins!
Not as good as Dawnbreaker, but not as bad as the Drowned.
fucking devastator Wrecking every thing !!! ( PS supergirl is hot as hell y'all )
A twisted metal mish mash of Batman, Elseworlds & DC Crisis...When Superman murders Lois Lane, Bat man infects himself with the Doomsday Virus and creates DoomBat.
Geodude on steroids I’d be lying if I said these tie-ins weren’t getting pretty repetitive. Either way, I do like this one. The art is top notch and the reasoning behind Batman turning to Barbados is understandable and sometimes powerful. The scenes with Lois Lane, in particular, were well done. Letter Grade: (B)
This is a 4.5 for me but it was still fantastic! I loved seeing this backstory; it was very interesting and a unique take on this character. I am excited to read more!
It's weird to say, but The Devastator is the least destructive and the least "hell yeah metal"-feeling of the evil Batmen so far. I mean, that dude is f*cking Doomsday-Bat and all he did is some fetch me errand mission plus unleashing some DDay virus. No sir, there is no Death of Superman-ish type of battle where the fight is a brutal mano-a-mano.In fairness though, there are some awesome action scenes which is almost a BvS ripoff and another one with Lobo. Those fight scenes are the ones I have...
I couldn't decide whose side to take. Although, Devastator makes a convincing statement on why not to put all your faith in Superman. This is my favorite amongst the Dark Nights titles. The characters look great. Superb artwork.
Alright, these are getting redundant, but I quite liked this one. It was pretty zombie-like, but it was polished.
Okay, this Batman Dark Nights Metal story was pretty good. A Doomsday version of Batman. What will DC think of next? Still, the story just seems to be going on a little too long.
Another good Dark Nights tie-in. I don’t really feel that this Batman is all that evil though considering everything that happened to him.
Batman kills the world.
I thought maybe I'd read too much of this line today to enjoy more issues, but I seem to have been mistaken. It's just that the last issue (Flash #33) wasn't very good. This one, however, was pretty darned interesting. I liked the skip of the how and why (and that the writer tells you in their own, blatant way to do so) and get right to the meat of what happens next. The philosophy of it all is what made this book worth reading.
YeahI enjoyed this comic an looking forward to reading the next issue in the series my only gripe waiting for the next. Oh man the art is excellent!
Year of the Villain tie in
