More than Courage

More than Courage

Michel-Aimé Baudouy
0/5 ( ratings)
To Mick, son of a wealthy and ambitious French family, anything to do with machines and mechanics meant a great deal more than regular school studies, and because of low grades, he is frequently in trouble with his father. When his friend Paulo discovered an old motorcycle hidden since World War II, the boys' only thought was how to recondition it - and then try it out in cross-country races. Mick began to really try for good grades so that no one would question the hours he spent away from home secretly working on the machine with some village boys and Paulo. With ingenuity, hard work, and infinite patience, the motorcycle was brought back into shape - but it was Mick who proved to have the courage, skill, and stamina to ride it in a grueling, dangerous race.
