The 150th Antietam-Sharpsburg Reenactment Committee has produced an 80 page 150th Antietam-Sharpsburg souvenir program inspired by the 1962 Centennial Program which commemorated the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Antietam.

The 150th Antietam-Sharpsburg Sesquicentennial Program includes reprints of the six articles from the 1962 Centennial Program as well as six new articles.

Articles penned by James V. Murfin author of “The Gleam of Bayonets”, Judge Edward S. Delaplaine of Frederick, E. Russell Hicks, Mary Vernon Mish, Reuban Darby and John Schildt all contributed to the 1962 program.

In 2012, the sole remaining writer from the original six, John Schildt has returned with an article on President Abraham Lincoln's visit to the Antietam Battlefield. Additional articles include the birth of photojournalism at the Battle of Antietam, Clara Barton: the Angel of the Battlefield, the story of the preservation of the Antietam Battlefield, Lincoln's visit to Antietam after the battle, the history and development of the popular December Illumination Program at Antietam and a feature on Pulitizer Prize winning author Michael Shaara and his New York Times bestselling author son, Jeff Shaara and their contribution to historical fiction.
