This is the first of the standalone books in the Secret Invasion story arc that I’ve read. It is very fragmented with lots of time and location hops. As I’ve mentioned before this is a bit of an annoyance to me.That said I did enjoy the larger section where the Skrull reveal their plans to take over the Earth. Most of the rest is a jumble. There is obviously lots that has happened prior or concurrently that requires more reading.Some of the artwork is very nice. It does open with a section that
