With the help of his wife Botanica and his son Boomerang , Bullseye confronts the Hungry Hill and, using one of his wife Botanica's amazing plant powders, makes the hill let him enter. Before he can bring the humans out to safety, however, Bullseye comes close to getting trapped himself!
Along the way, Botanica makes use of a letter from far away ... Junior does a lot of growing up in a couple of hours ... and Books, the daughter and scholar of the Bigfoot family, learns -- to her surprise -- that Bigfoot and humans really can get along with each other!

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Author of some 20 published books of nonfiction, David Ritchie has made a study of Bigfoot lore for years and specializes in writing for young readers. His articles have appeared in the Washington Post, the New York Press, and numerous other publications. Any resemblance between characters in his Bigfoot stories and actual Bigfoot is purely coincidental.
