I really liked it. Let's see- Artemis is... complicated. Like I obviously love him with my whole heart, he's beautiful and cute, but at the same time, he was a complete idiot. 2 stars because eventually I become attached with the books I read (I was between 1 and 2). However, the first book is way better. In this one, I feel like the author is repeating places, scenes and descriptions over and over again. I' ve liked the ending, but I would have made the book itself shorter. I found myself readying the first book 7 straight hours, but this I found it hard to finish it, it becomes a little boring and repeating.
I feel like the plot is based on the lack of communication between Raquel and Artemis. His mom is a bitch, what type of a grown-ass woman would actually blackmail a 15 year old????? I'm glad Mr. Hidalgo realized his mistake though (I really like him despite his lack of affection to his sons).

At first, I thought that this would be better than the first book, that the author somehow developed, but I really don't think she did. There's less sex in this book than in the first one, I think it's replaced by childhood memories, but I still feel like there are so many things the author could've written more about and just didn't (Claudia's mom's disease, the whole Hidalgo mom situation, etc.).
