I felt like we barely tapped into these characters and they (especially the H) had so much going on that we only briefly addressed (if that) by the end. Maverick is a football player and Delaney is a bit of a nerdy girl Maverick has it bad for. Their romance was sweet, but this story dealt with some heavier stuff in Maverick’s family/home life.
