Keith Scott
0/5 ( ratings)
The colourful story of the picturesque goldfields town of Naseby in Central Otago, New Zealand. The book covers the rich and often entertaining history of the town from its original settlement, which followed the discovery of gold in 1863, through until 2013. Through its 150 year history the town has changed from a being bustling goldfields town with a population of over 5000 to become a popular year round alpine holiday and outdoor recreation destination nestled at the foot of the Mount Ida Range. With a permanent population now of just 120, it not only retains many wonderful relics of its past but it has become the Southern Hemisphere capital of the ancient sport of curling.

Naseby - A History was written to commemorate the town's 150th jubilee in 2013.
