Tom Ford: A home-schooled foundling who never attended college. He was astute enough however, to secure a top job with an old-line New York investment banking firm. Tom, however, had an unconventional sideline. His skill as a master long-range sniper introduced him to a mysterious secret league of assassins. He soon traveled the world eliminating terrorists who threatened the American people. Tom Ford was very good at it.

Kathryn St. John: The daughter of a Vietnam War Medal of Honor recipient, Kat worked as a producer for a highly rated talk show on a popular cable news channel. Her mother died when she was very young and she was raised by an overprotective father, but was determined to be an independent woman. She succeeded. She also learned to defend herself and took pride in it. It saved her life.
