Neelesh Mishra Ka Yaad Sheher - Vol. 2 is a collection of tales narrated by the talented radio storyteller and it contains different stories set in the fictional location of Yaad Sheher.

The book uses easy-to-understand Hindi that describes everyday scenarios encountered in a busy metro. These stories make use of characters from different walks of life such as married couples, romantic youngsters and lonely souls. Simple themes are used throughout the book, ranging from young people looking for romance to domestic squabbles in the street.

Many of these narratives have moralistic aspects to them and end with a conflict being resolved. Hope is a motif that is maintained in all of his stories. The author has written a humanistic account of his imagination and in doing so, he has created a fiction which is capable of inciting nostalgia in readers.
