Anika and her girls know how to have fun. The run the streets of Buffalo, NY. Every girl wanted to be them, and every guy wants to be down with them. They were the “it” girls and they knew it. But no matter who was checking for Anika, she only had eyes for Que, a Ruff Neck from the streets. It didn’t matter how many boyfriends Anika had, Que was the only Man she ever wanted. But Ques wasn’t just any ‘ol Ruff Neck. Que belonged to the FAM, which is the Biggest and Baddest drug cartel on the east coast. The FAM also happen to be the family of Anika. Que know that his lifestyle will never allow him to be with Anika. But when a new man steps into the picture how we Que react? Will he step up and show Anika how much he loves her or will the streets of Buffalo claim him as another victim?

Anika is not alone. Her friends, Yazz and Ayanna each find themselves loving men that ultimately alter their lives for better and for worse.

Monica is the last friend in this quartet. The only friend not bothered by the effects of loving anyone other than herself. Monica is too consumed with money, power and the excitement of living high and carefree, that she fails to see how her action affect others. Like the other three ladies Monica is soon to face decisions and consequences she is not prepared for.

Each chapter of this urban tale is titled after a R&B / Hip-Hop song from the 1990’s. Each song acting like a mirror into the mindset of the characters. Full of twist and turns, The 716, Love and Consequences introduces you to characters you will fall in love with and hate all at the same time.
