The purpose of this course is to provide nurses with information about the process of wound healing and interventions that may advance or hinder it in order to support the use of evidence-based practice and improve patient health. 5. Discuss the stages of wound healing.
6. Describe the different approaches to wound debridement and cleansing.
7. List the different types of dressing materials available for wound care.
8. Outline the necessary components of evaluating and monitoring wound healing.
