In the second book, of The Elixir Fixers, Sasha and Puck try to help get rich and bratty Sisal Gentry to be nice when the headmistress of a top boarding school comes for an interview. The scenario in which this works was a little implausible, but we enjoyed it all the same. The term "cordial cordial" was pretty clever and also provided a good talking point for my six year old about synonyms and also vocabulary since she didn't know either meaning of cordial.Gr. 2-3
Sasha and Puck have another crisis to manage, this time making the spoiled, rude girl from the local rich family polite enough to get accepted into boarding school--all so her father's not-so-magical potion will appear to work. A second good entry in the series.
