Candi Rios is a magnet for trouble. The young accountant lands her first job at a medical supply company, but she learns the man who hired her has been brutally murdered. A couple of weeks later, her coworker suffers the same fate. Both bodies are found wearing a ski mask. A psychotic killer is targeting their company. Is she next on the list? Candi finds herself in the middle of a tangled web of deceit and doesn’t know who to trust.

She meets a mysterious man named Rico. He is handsome and polite, but underneath there is a hard edge. He warns Candi about Pablo Payaso and his brother Eddy, recently arrived from Colombia. They are working on a clever scheme to get rich by smuggling herbal tea laced with cocaine. But they are very angry because someone has been ripping them off, and they don’t plan on leaving until they recover their money.

Their best customer is a local evangelical church. The charismatic reverend is using the strangely addictive herbal tea in his services, and the congregation is growing like crazy. Their behavior is also a little crazy, but donations are pouring in. The sudden wave of money has attracted many others anxious for a piece of the pie, including the mistress of Reverend Boggs, the local vampire cult, and a couple of ambitious exotic dancers.

The thrills and confusion baffle Candi and Rico as they struggle to solve the mystery. Can they persevere to unmask the killer and discover the hidden fortune? Both the cops and Colombians are hot on their trail to find out who will get there first.
