Recommend-mehCover-⭐⭐⭐Push away from h
This book was a tough one for me because I love sports stories - especially when the tutor-athlete fall for each other. But man....this book was all sorts of messed up.Ok, so up-his-own-ass for 75% of the book is Tobias. King of the campus and narcissist extraordinaire. He needs a tutor to pass and his Coach is offering the #1 tutor on campus, Meyer. He can't BELIEVE she doesn't want to tutor him (seriously, he acts like this through most of the book - and not in a hot Alpha way, more like an ob...
Meagan Brandy has done it again. I think this is my favorite book of hers. Yes dang it, I say that after every one of her stories, but I REALLY mean it this time. She continues her wicked ways with this book, starting off giving you enough information to reel you in and yes, of course, leave you wondering what will happen next. I am telling you now, you will guess WRONG. OK enough of that cause anyone who leave spoilers are always on my hit list, so I don’t want to be on my own naughty list, wel...
I absolutely loved Tobias Cruz !!! This was such a great read it consumed me from beginning till end this story was sweet sexy angsty and emotional I laughed I cried I swooned this was a all the feels sports romance that only this author can write. Meyer and Tobias chemistry was bleeding off the pages I could feel their want their desire to be with each other their desperation some of the stuff Tobias said to Meyer just thinking about it brings tears to my eyes this is definitely a story you don...
this was... pretty bad. so little of this made sense or was realistic in any sense. and tbh i can usually overlook that if the romance is good but the tension/angst was nonexistent and i didn't understand the underlying attraction here.i mean it's a sports romance so if you're really hard up and have read every sports romance published other than this one maybe give it a go, otherwise skip
im hijacking the title Himbo King from Phuong bcos this bitch, Tobias, is the ruler of all himbos. along with Emmett Cullen and Luke from Julie and the Phantoms.right, i think im gonna rate this in two parts lol. bcos the first 50% was not a vibe for me, while the second half was so fun.first half = 2 stars ⭐️second half = 4 stars⭐️first half of the book:wow this book should just be named “fragile masculinity” instead. my thoughts in the first half were just a rambling slew of insults aimed at T...
'DIRTY CURVE' Is a full length sports romance book by Meagan Brandy. Spoken in 'dual perspectives.'A slow-burn which captured and kidnapped all the mushy feels leaving me craving more. Tobias Cruz the #PlayBoyPitcher is on top of his game a hotshot number one pitcher in the country at Avix University a man who lives and breathes baseball and is on his way to the very top, there's only one thing standing in his way and that's his grades, they are slipping down a slippery slope which could
“Let me be someone that matters to you, ‘cause you matter to me.” Oh my stars … DIRTY CURVE is ALL THE WOW! The ultimate baseball romance brimming with heart, heat, and a hero who will bring you to your knees. Meagan Brandy seduces with passionate prose—crafting complex and caring characters in the deliciously decadent Dirty Curve, a love story to savor. I fell fast in love with this baseball romance full of feels. The more I read, the harder I fell. Hands down, DIRTY CURVE is the best baseball
2.75 stars This is the tale about Tobias and his only brain cell who is a single mom who works 2 jobs; sex and baseball. There’s nothing more going for him. “It’s like my eyes pull at something in her, probably her pussy strings. I dig it.” “She’s fire, I know it, and call me a fuckin’ pyro ‘cause, goddamn if I don’t crave the flame.”“I love tits. Big ones, small ones, real ones, fake ones, call me Dr. Fuckin’ Suess, and right now, the doctor wants to play, are they or aren’t they?”Who wouldn’t
Don’t let the cover and the title fool you! This is a slow burn romance with all the feels! This was different from your typical romance in the sense that while we get POV scenes from both the hero and the heroine, we get to spend a lot more time in the hero’s head. Tobias starts off as the annoying, self-obsessed, and arrogant jock, but he evolves quite beautifully over the course of the novel. Meyer is a nerdy heroine that works all the time in order to support her newborn daughter. I don’t wa...
This book is basically atrocious. And I read the whole thing. Why it atrocious? First the nickname tutor girl did not do it for me. But neither did the politics of sports tutoring. As someone tutored athletes at a prestigious sports & academic school, I felt awful for the pressure Meyer got to have her clients succeed. Imagine having it pinned to you the reason a star athlete and this program can play and or succeed. Frankly, it's not really unusual at all either. But then there was this whole co...
Tobias is swooned over so much, I just had to give this a try, even tho the single mom trope isn't my favorite. I do love college sport romances with the nerd/jock theme. I've also had luck with this author in the past. So, it was worth a try. What I noticed immediately is how similar the premise is to another book I adore. Similar set up. Similar gossipy chapter headings. Same “Tutor Girl” nickname. Even some scenes seemed a little reminiscent.... and I'm not sure the comparison helped this one...
Meagan Brandy is my unicorn author, i have been obsessing over her books lately and i love them all. Her stories are so unique and interesting, lets not talk about the plot twists at the end, holy wow. And dont get me started with her Heroes. Damn! Tobias fucking Cruz, kill me now or give him to me. At first he annoyed me little cuz he was so cocky and arrogant, he thought that all the girls fall into his feet so he was shocked when Meyers didnt and ignored him. He was egoistic and overconfident...
Ok...so I will admit, the beginning didn't totally put me off from reading the rest and I'm glad I continued. Tobias completely redeemed himself (still thought he was a dick at the start though). Loved how the story was building and building and you think it's going in a certain direction but then BAMM nope it gives you a different twist!I love Meagan Brandy's books and her style. Can't wait for more 😍
I loved Tobias Cruz 𝒐𝒉 𝒔𝒐 𝒎𝒖𝒄𝒉!! Despite being labeled a playboy that broke hearts and a player who was only in it for the game, my little heart loved him. He was a hotshot pitcher and knew he was good. All while wanting to feel acceptance for more than what he could do on the mound. He wanted to truly be seen and loved. The ones who should have always had his back didn't and the few who did only were in it for themselves. He knew he was more than what they saw him as, but he couldn't make them
Tobias Cruz is Meagan Brandy's swooniest hero for sure and his tutor girl own my heart completely. Dirty Curve was such a power house of feels that I just cannot express it all. The angst and the slow burn tortured me and just slayed me over and over again. This sports romance has endless raw chemistry, breathtakingly intense feels and so many jaw dropping twists. At the same time it had a sexy flirty vibe. My heart is exploding here and I cannot tell you how badly you need this book in your lif...
****3.75 stars ⭐****"The one girl seemingly immune to my charm. I don’t get it, but I want to. I want to know her. Understand her. I kind of just want to talk to her for a while."This is Tobias Cruz, the star pitcher of Avid University's baseball team and Meyer the smart, shy, and hard working tutor girl's story. It had two major twists that I didn't see coming (probably around 83%) and it kept me hooked. It wasn't as good as I thought it would be but it was definitely good in the shock element....
