This book started being a little too slow, but eventually it got better. The best friend’s sister/brother will always be one of my favourite tropes, because like in this book, is great to see how they both start seeing each other with different eyes, start having different intentions with each other, and what happens when the secret gets out in the world. This book is about Leah, how she copes with losing her parents, getting away from everyone and everything and not letting anyone help her.But wh...
I was easy to read but very predictable, I knew what's going to happen to them since the beggining. But I liked that it talks about mental health and how hard it is to get out of a dark place
This book made me feel lots of things, I enjoyed Leah's story and her personality a lot. Her way of talking, thinking and expressing herself really made me feel understood but although Axel was quite different as her, he also made me feel comfortable, this characters made me realize once more that we live once and that things do happen for a reason, I haven't read the second book and don't know if I should but what I got from both characters made me change perspectives about, my life, my decision...
I was addicted to this novel. I understand how the 10 year age difference between the main characters can be an issue to some people but honestly it made me enjoy the book more. I am in a 10 year age difference relationship myself and I understand how you can completely fall for someone older/younger than you. It also made me appreciate this novel more as I could relate to some of the problems the MC faces. The characters felt very genuine: their personalities, hobbies and problems were relatable...
i was excepting more ngl. axel just wasn’t what i hoped for. he was selfish throughout the entire book, and even when he said that he ONLY wanted the best for leah i could tell that it was only for his benefit. oliver was the one who actually cared about his sister so i get why he was mad when he found out about her and axeli kinda liked the romance between them tho but the age gap bothered me the entire book. i know she’s overaged but… she’s 19 and he’s almost 30… that’s just weird. not ilegal

I really enjoyed it. It’s a delicate story. It’s not just about a romance it also talks about trying to get over a trauma. This book helped me personally, I could apply some of the dialogues or quotes to myself, so it was really great. It’s an easy book to read and I recommend it for teenagers.
This is my favorite book. Honestly, is the best thing that I’ve ever read. Simply… amazing. "Todo lo que Nunca fuimos": 5⭐A story of love and death and post-traumatic stress. A story of struggling and growing. I am in absolute awe! The writing is so beautiful, it touches your soul in a way I've never felt before. I cried so many times, especially in the chapters where the main character talks about her pain. It got me thinking about how much I should appreciate my life, it was just heartbreaking.Axel and Leah were so perfect together, like they said, like a puzzle piece perfectly fitti...
I give it a 1/10. What I hated most about this book are the characters. Axel looks like an animal in heat trying to convince himself of the aberrations that he thought were correct because it was "love." He went from seeing her as a younger sister to a woman overnight.Leah was traumatized by the death of her parents and Axel came to "cure" all her sentences forcing her to do activities for her "well-being."It took me a time to finish it because it's really boring and weird. Obviously I will not

I loved it!! I wonder how people sell this book as a romance book, I think it’s more than that🤩. I like how this book talks about deeper things like losing a loved one, how we act when we are faced with such a situation, I think the romance takes a back seat to all this and I really liked that despite this we could find romance.
