A Face in the Crowd

A Face in the Crowd

E. Caroline Wilson
0/5 ( ratings)
Could the impossible be possible?

Handsome, hot film director Blake Ashford is in Chicago shooting a feature.

A consummate professional, he gives no outward signs of the turmoil that plagues him…his toddler son has been missing for three long years, abducted by his mother.

But while choosing extras for a scene in the movie, Blake spots a boy who has similar features and coloring to his biracial son.

He immediately offers bit parts to both the boy, Niles Harvey, and his exotically dark-complexioned mother. A desire to spend more time with the boy who reminds him of the son he misses so much leads to a series of outings…and a growing attraction to the mother.

But as he learns more about the similarities between their children, he starts to ponder a crazy possibility…could her son and his possibly be one and the same?

Marketing manager Monet Harvey is able to provide comfortably for her five-year-old son, Niles, but knows that money cannot provide a father figure.

It warms her heart to see Niles interact with Blake, and she’s flattered that Blake confided in her about his son’s abduction, and even more so when he shows a personal interest in her.

But she’s keeping a secret from him about Niles, and as they grow closer, she is faced with a difficult situation.

Only one other person knows the truth about her son, and despite her growing feelings for Blake she’s simply not ready to share. At least she knows he’ll never find out…

Or will he?
