Lies the CDC Told: How the Obama Administration took away your right to pain treatment and why it could cost you your life

In 2016 the Center for Disease Control released its "opioid prescribing guidelines." These guidelines are the basis of laws in the majority of states. It is now clear that CDC used a biased selection process and falsified data to create a false narrative blaming prescription drugs for the increase in opioid overdoses, while knowing that smuggling of illicit fentanyl across the Mexico border was the real cause. This happened at a time when the Obama administration was reducing border enforcement.

Patients are limited to low doses of pain medication regardless of their medical condition or the whether the increased pain will leave them permanently bed ridden. Tens of thousands of patients are living in agony and hundreds have used their suicide notes to blame the opioid prescribing guidelines for their deaths. While the addicts face little consequence for their illegal drug use, innocent pain patients are denied all quality of life.
All it takes is a serious spinal injury and you could find yourself on the maximum allowable opioid dose. Once that occurs you will be denied even post-operative pain medication.
