This book is part of a series of Tales from Gal'lee County, a highly-contextualized approach to presenting the gospel of Jesus Christ through first-person narrative. The story is told through the voice of the Beloved Disciple, traditionally identified as the apostle John, nicknamed a Son of Thunder, Boomer John. This particular volume is designed to be a sweeping presentation of the entire scope of the Bible story. As such, it's a bit heavier and more abstract than most of the series, and is less self-referencing.
The goal of each of these books is to provide a tool for children and families-and children in my family-to know and love the One who initiated the Book of books. May you come to new levels of intimacy with the Master Himself, as we celebrate The Big Picture of HiStory presented herein.
