Yeah, okay....Spoiler Alert! Yeah, okay, this book was much better than the 2nd installment. I'm so glad the author didn't prolong the fight with Valens, and that he was defeated and destroyed causing an end to reign. So now it seems we will get a new villain... Hmm this should be interesting. Okay that's all I have for now..so bye!Overall Rating:4* ~ A Good Read
"Be you, Alexis," he whispered near the shell of my ear. "I love you, in every way. No one else's opinion will change that. Just be you." "I love you, too," I said, and pointed at Chef's Kitchen. "We might as well get some good materials for the guys." "Good thinking. I hear that store has one hell of a lemon zester." As we entered the store, I squeezed his hand and leaned my arm against his. "The kids wanted me to get my miracle. They both thought they'd already received theirs, and wanted me t...
Really enjoyed this one - Lexi's power and her development of it is really fantastic.Kieran grew on me, but honestly? He's not consistent. Kieran of book 3 feels like an entirely different person from Kieran of book 1. I just don't buy that he could make a complete 180 in personality in the like ... 4 weeks that he's had a relationship with Lexi (I'm not counting the 3-ish weeks prior when he was a stalking, manipulative monster) - seriously, how is the guy in book 3 possible the same person who...
Originally posted at: I don't know what I was expecting but this novel ended up surprising me in a good way and in a bad way. Everything felt rushed and that's coming from someone who has DNFed quite a few series by this author because the writing was too descriptive and the plot very slow moving. Lexi was entertaining in this book, I'll give her that, but that's about it. Her sense of humor is great and her protective nature toward her wards is so sweet to see but I still have a problem with...
4.5 stars - A satisfying conclusion to an Urban Fantasy trilogy that got better with each book!I really enjoyed this third and final instalment of the Demigod of San Francisco trilogy by K.F. Breene, which started with Sin & Chocolate. As this is an encapsulated story arc over the series it cannot be read as a standalone novel and its important to read the books in order to avoid spoilers and to fully understand the character motivations and development.'Sin and Salvation' picks up the events di...
GAH, THAT WAS SPECTACULAR!!
An action-packed finale to the trilogySin & Salvation is the third book of the Demigods of San Francisco series. To fully appreciate, understand and enjoy this I really would recommend reading the previous two books, Sin & Chocolate and Sin & Magic . In the books we meet Alexis, her two wards Daisy and Mordecai, the Demi-god Kieran, his posse of bad-ass magic uses (called The Six) and Kieran's evil ol' dad, Valens. This, like both previous books, had it's own complete adventure along with...
