Deep down, instead of princes, I thought maybe every woman wanted gentle monsters. Someone strong—scary enough to keep all the bad things away—and gentle only to those he loved. i adore this one so much. take a look at my edit, and you’ll get why. 🙈 It was a painting without color except for the red dripping from the horned demon’s mouth and chin as he feasted upon the naked woman whose nipples leaked fluids. I drew him crouched, the lady in his hold. There was nothing else in the photo, th
3.5 stars This was just cute and sweet. No drama, no angst, no nothing, except heartwarming moments and funny dialogue. Nothing exceptional, but a feel good type of story.
3.5 I actually did enjoy this book a lot and was going to give it 4 stars but there were 2 scenes that made me cringe. Spoilers now:Okay here’s the spoiler:Once he calls her a child looking… I just idk how to feel about this especially when he proceeds to have sex with her.And the other time he drinks her milk. That’s just not for me
This was so refreshing that I dreamily smiled throughout the whole book. It was an almost drama free book, with a sweet romance. I’m not a fan of age-gap romance but this wasn’t a taboo one and since she had two kids, it didn’t feel like there was 8 year age difference between them. Hadley and Elijah were so cute, and I think I liked it better because we got to see how they evolved and change when they met. But obviously, most of all, I loved Lucy, her sass and her personality, her dialogues wer...
Honestly so glad I didn’t leave this on my “hell no” shelf. I initially wasn’t interested in reading it based on some reviews about his inner monologue making assumptions that the heroine was on food stamps, EBT, etc.Did he think stupid shitty things when he first sees the heroine? Yes. Did he admit he was wrong and was an ass? Yes. Did I forgive him? Hell yes.He was a little bit of an asshole at first but that quickly changes. He slowly falls in love with his neighbor and her kids and I loved t...
3.8✨ ’Deep down, instead of princes, I thought maybe every woman wanted gentle monsters. Someone strong—scary enough to keep all the bad things away—and gentle only to those he loved. I knew where I went wrong. I’d stumbled upon a faux prince, having never met a monster before. Monsters weren’t easy to approach, but princes came too easily. Maybe you had to deal with someone easy to learn what to do and not to do just in case a monster showed up’. this was surprisingly good. i wouldn’t say it
“One day, baby, when we’re old and gray, I’m going to look over at you while we’re sitting on the porch and tell you how these tears were wasted.” She cried harder as she opened her eyes. “God bless… You’re serious!” “One hundred percent.” I cupped her cheeks in my hands. “That one percent of you… I want it.” After seeing this book FLOOD my timeline, I just knew I had to give this one a try and I’m so glad I did because One Percent of You was ✨SO HEARTWARMING✨. I was completely unpr
4.5 stars “I simply can’t help myself. I gravitate toward your little family.” Good bless America! This was so cute!! It was so sweet, soft, and just wholesome. This was such a sweet chill romance filled with cute banter and heartwarming moments. A hero who radiates stay away vibes, a strong heroine with a soft heart, and a four years old daughter who owned my heart. Deep down, instead of princes, I thought maybe every woman wanted gentle monsters. Someone strong—scary enough to keep all the...
This book was so adorable! It was exactly the swoon-worthy and feel good romance I've been needing lately.✅ I REALLY LOVED ALL OF THE CHARACTERS in this story! Hadley, Elijah, Lucy... they were all so well written - each had their strengths and weaknesses and together they were such an amazing family✅ THE EMOTIONAL STRUGGLE Hadley had to go through was so believable! Having to trust someone again after being cheated on would always be difficult, but to add in a baby and a toddler would make it s...
this one was so cute and drama-free book😩🤍
DNF @ 50%I just couldn't finish this one. The hero was such a complete judgmental douche of an asshole that scares a 3-year-old so he can take the chips she had legitimately grabbed first, then continues to be mean and judgmental towards both the Mom and the kid until real grownups tell him he is being an asshole. I think the author was trying to go for humor, but it fell WAY flat for this reader. On top of that, neither the hero nor the heroine seemed to be the sharpest knives in the drawer.
I struggled to reach 18% of the story and eventually dnf it. I couldn’t connect with the characters, not even with the heroine’s sassy young daughter. The heroine was busting her ass off, studying, working, taking care of everything, raising a little girl with her useless, pathetic and lame partner, only to find him cheating on her with her cousin! And she was just pregnant with the second child!! 🙄🙄The development was slow, the plot couldn’t hold my interest and I just couldn’t feel this story…...
great book filled with lots of sweet and romantic moments, great characters who are relatable, likeable and have great chemistry. a must read! 💕[3.5/5★]
When the title was thoughtful and the character development was absolutely ✨GOLDEN ✨There was sooo much to love:💫Lucy💫The mean grump who was def SMITTEN💫The grump who be-friended a 3 year old girl💫Hadley, who was as sweet as hardworking💫Supportive families of both the MCs💫Tattoos 💫Did you hear me say LUCY??PS: Pardon my French, but that fuckface ex of hers deserved a good smack to his face, possibly with a chair and I'd have paid to see it happen 😤
