3.5 StarsThis was a pretty decent ending to the Jack Burton story. (Or was it? You know these things never really end.) This was really far out, even for this book, but still had plenty of funny moments. Overall this was a very enjoyable series. I'm not sure how well this would translate to people who hadn't seen the movie, but for fans of the franchise it's good.
Cool art, some amusing writing, and a generally interesting, if not wholly original story.I missed the first two issues and was not a BTiLC fan going in, but the rest of this series was cool and kept me entertained.

Loved the movie and the first series of comics that picked up right where the movie left off, but this just started to get way too campy and ended up being distracting. The overall theme was great but the dialogue throughout just brought down my rating.
Same review for all three volumes since they were read as one and are really a single story. What you want is what you get. silly action, glib one liners, and a self-awareness that is almost deadpool-esque at times.
