Called to The Edge

Called to The Edge

Mélisande Fitzsimons
0/5 ( ratings)
Called to the Edge is an anthology by six different poets: Abigail Robinson, Jo Ball, Rosie Barrett, Rachel Gippetti, Mélisande Fitzsimmons, and Jane Slavin; each of whom presents several poems in a short chapter and which intimate the reader uniquely.

Every poem has been crafted beyond the space between notebook and the poet’s visionary fire: it has been collectively developed and edited by the poets speaking their work aloud, and then reshaping it in response to attuned, considered, and exacting responses to that.

As well as tempering each poem’s form, this process has also led each poet to develop and exercise a unique literary voice, and to collectively produce an anthology which holds both transcendent breath and gravitas in the world
