I first want to start out by saying that I didn't NOT like this book. I am going to do my best at explaining all of that just very briefly because I don't feel like this book should have to have a lot of negativity. The main thing I did not like about this entire story was the length of it. I'm never afraid to read a long book. I was not intimidated by the size of this story at all. 500 pages is a breeze for me. BUT...I just felt like it should have been 200 pages shorter. I really liked the auth...
A taboo age gap romance...Available through Kindle Unlimited US: https://amzn.to/2IAY66pUK: https://amzn.to/2Ft5PSbCA: https://amzn.to/2J7vb94AU: https://amzn.to/2X0M3Dm
Melodramatic nonsense. Oh god to read this was like running nails down a chalkboard.I knew it was an age gap trope I didn't realize it would be so annoying.
I’m gonna give this one 4 stars and NOT because of the content per se, more because it was too long and I got a little bored. With all the yammering about underage sexual relationships, taboo, and forbidden romance books I can’t believe this hasn’t been pulled from Amazon shelves as well. Which, might I add, IS CENSORSHIP! You have the choice to read what you want and it shouldn’t make people hate you or think you are sick because you decide to read FICTION...DID YOU HEAR ME...FIC-TION!!!!!!This
I read the extended sneak peak and I think this book is going to far. 4 years age difference and your best friends adoptive sister that’s fine. A Grown ass man sleeping with his adopted niece is gross and not a story I would want to read.
3 stars 🌟Well, it wasn't what I expected. After wasting 2 days of my life on this one, I've decided that this book deserves nothing more from me.It wasn't that bad but god I had expectations from this one. The author tried to dish out angst but it lacked heat. I couldn't connect to any of the main characters (or the side ones). The three stars are for decent writing, a semi-steamy smut scene and my time gone reading this one.
'Interconnected novel to The Truth about Heartbreak' This is Oliver and Charlie's story, who we've already encountered in The Truth about Heartbreak After reading 'The Truth about Heartbreak' this book right here became one of my most highly anticipated reads!! I couldn't wait to get a copy in my hands, when it arrived on my kindle, life was put on hold!!God where to even start with this one!! After a quick refresh I was gearing to go, couldn't wait to dive in and be carried away on the feel
this is just wrong. having sexual and emotional feelings for your adoptive sister’s adoptive daughter who is 15 years younger than you? and while she is sixteen and you are thirty one? there even is this one line from charlie’s sixteenth birthday where she says, “yaay, im no longer half your age!” . i knew what i was getting myself into before starting this book but the story had nothing for me to overlook the odds. Bad bad, wrong wrong and disgusting disgusting storyline.
Not only do I not want to read this because the hero is a pedophile who has sex with a 16-year-old when he’s in his 30s but he also has sex with other women during their separation. I hate when the hero has sex with other women after meeting the heroine in this case it’s even worse because he had had sex with her already
I honestly didn't like this book very much. The whole age gap thing I could overlook but the rest of the things not so much. And to be honest,I don't have some special thoughts about this. So,Charlie is a 15 teen girl and she is living with her foster parents. Her real parents were junkies and completely two sick persons.I did felt sorry for Charlie. Now,Charlie went through some serious trauma as a kid,and she is not able to cope with it.Even tho she knows how to pretend otherwise it's pretty clear
“When you love people, you sacrifice your feelings to give them what they need. I think that’s what people don’t understand about love; it hurts. It’s not about a happily ever after you get when the story ends, it’s about the sacrifice you make to get there.”My poor, poor heart. This book absolutely wrecked me. After meeting Charlie and Ollie in THE TRUTH ABOUT HEARTBREAK, I knew that their story was going to be pretty special, and I wasn’t disappointed. If, like me, you are a bit of a sucker fo...
The Truth About Tomorrow is a full length novel focused on Charlie and Ollie, who we previously met in The Truth About Heartbreak.Forbidden Romance √Age Gap √Angst √Wow! What an epic romance this was! The Truth About Tomorrow is the latest gem from the talented B. Celeste. These characters stole my heart from the very first page with their playful banter and magnetic chemistry. Their touching story brings out all of the feels and left me breathless in the end. I'm actually struggling to find the...
This is probably a high 3/low 4 because I did think the book was interesting, but I didn't agree with so much of this book. Especially after reading the first book. The main characters were alright, but separately. Charlie was fine in the first half. I truly believed that she was just a girl that was just trying to look for herself after she had been dealt bad circumstances. I think she should've had more repercussions for her actions. Her backstory didn't really feel important in the story. It
