Escape?An adventure within an adventure and a bickering family to boot. I love that this is being set alongside the war of the realms and showing a very different sort of fight. It is nice seeing lesser used warriors getting their own spin off in a way.
The fun energy of the first issue continues here. The team rests and hides out at an RV park. The people they meet there.....whoa, didn’t see that coming.
Στην αρχή φοβόμουν το team-up του συγκεκριμένου tie-in, αλλά στο δεύτερο τεύχος η χημεία μεταξύ των χαρακτήρων έχει φτιάξει. Βέβαια το χιούμορ μερικές φορές φαντάζει κάπως βεβιασμένο, οπότε διατηρώ ακόμα τις αμφιβολίες μου για την συνέχεια.

I was so surprised by this team in the first issue, but now I’m really digging it. I almost wish that we could see how this team would work in the long run. But that would probably never happen (I’m pretty sure I’m a jinx to teams; every team I fall in love with either gets split up or canceled). This issue had a bit of fun, but in a way that still moved the whole War of the Realms plot forward. It was a nice semi-break.
Another awesome issue - filled with a bunch of stupid funny references that only the McElroys could provide.
I think this one tried too hard to be funny, and I don't think the jokes always landed. Apparently there was a reference to The Princess Bride that went right over my head, even though that's a movie I've seen a thousand times. Also, this comic is about a really odd mashup of characters, and I feel like more backstory would've been beneficial for readers. I only have a vague idea of who some of the characters are. Additionally, this second issue doesn't pick up right where the first issue left o...
