Read off the back of her book. I really liked this podcast. There is alot of depth to the subject matter which will take years get through but this is a start.
A very short but humorous and informative podcast about menstruation. Maybe a little bit too far on the progressive side for me; I don't think children as young as two need to know about the genitals of the opposite sex any more than they can help it. And I'm sure all the women involved are third-wave feminists I would otherwise dislike. But this addresses an important issue that does need more open discussion among mature adults and teenagers.
I listened to these while cooking and enjoyed myself immensely. First episode was my favourite. Dads talking about periods is something that need to happen more.
Maisie Hill does an excellent job of debunking common misconceptions about periods and asks some of the questions that people should be, but aren't, asking. The audible narration is divided into two parts. Part One has a male panel and questions their understanding of periods, looks at some of their experiences with partners or children and challenges some of the perceptions which menstruaters struggle with. Part Two takes a female panel and asks them to share some of their personal experiences....
Expect this to be on my reading wrap up every monthReally brilliant in learning more about your period and just great listening to other people talking about it openly and honestly.Always funny to hear the guys in the Bloody Men episode talk about periods because their jokes and comments remind me so much of my male best friend and what he says when we talk about them.(11th read) had fun listening to this and doing a bit of decoupage.

1.5 stars. This didn't really bring anything refreshingly new to the table. I had issues with some of the content and I can only remember what I didn't like about this, so I have bumped this down half a star. There are better feminist works out there, discussing similar topics. I probably will not be picking up 'Period Power' after this. Although, I liked the inclusion of experts and famous guests in this very short podcast.
So funny and soool refreshing! Recommend to men, women, teens, EVERYONE!

A series of two podcast style one hour programmes that get various peoples opinion -both male and female on menstruation and menstruation problems such as period poverty, anatomy and hormones. The conversational quality of this audiobook means that it flows really well.
This short audible original is great for young individuals who are going through their periods for the first time. I think this audible original would help debunk and help those individuals who are embarrassed by their periods or who don't understand them.I did have a few issues with this audible original. Firstly, there are some aspects that are factually incorrect. They grouped all individuals who take the contraceptive pill in one group. Women, who take it for three weeks and either have a br...
2.5 stars*Overall rating is the average of the following ratings.*Episode 1: Bloody Men: 2 starsThree men have their knowledge of periods tested in this first episode of Their Will Be Blood. I was surprised that this podcast started with men but it was very interesting to see their views and knowledge of periods. There were some very good questions from them about periods and how they can talk about it with their kids/significant other. While some of the statistics in this episode were new, the
Hilarious podcast for women and the natural cycle of their bodies.
