Stop Overeating When What You Want Is Sex

Stop Overeating When What You Want Is Sex

Sara Ellis
4.5/5 ( ratings)
It is time to stop disowning and disconnecting from your sexuality. We live in a society that makes us feel inadequate so that we buy things and the diet industry is constantly growing billion dollar one. Diets do not work, go into any bookstore and you will see a hundred books on dieting and losing weight. If one of them worked, there would be no need for the other 99. In recent years, there has been a flux in the market of books addressing the emotional aspect of overeating, and I would like to say that this would be the key to you to stopping demoralising diets, but it isn't enough. Pick up any woman's magazine, and I bet it will contain something of the following: an article on how to love and embrace your body as it is, an excerpt from the latest best-selling diet book and a recipe for cupcakes.

Don't let this book be a book that gets relegated to your book shelf along with all the other things you tried. You will have to actively engage with the book and do the exercises. You have been shamed and manipulated for too long, it is time to stand in your power, and I will give you tools and techniques that will help you to change negative states and feelings that no longer serve you, and you can do so quickly and permanently. I will guide you towards getting the love and intimacy that you want and deserve in a healthy, boundaried way. When you get your intimate needs met, you will no longer feel the need to self-medicate with food and chemical laden sugary drinks. Until we find true nourishment and nourish ourselves, at the deepest soul level, we will always feel hungry, no matter what we eat. The Buddhists refer to "hungry ghosts" that wander the earth, looking for love, so hungry for connection, but like bottomless pits, they never feel fulfilled. We as a society are over consuming on empty food, junk food, fast food, and they are not really food, they are food-like substances, a weak imitation of food with little or no nutrition, leaving us craving more.

The same thing is happening with sex and love, television, media, the obsession with celebrity means that we look at famous couples having spectacular sex and we feel inadequate and are always seeking to fill the gap. It is a never-ending downward spiral.

There is a way sanity can be restored. Self-worth is the healing balm that you can apply, and this book will help you to cultivate a deep and lasting sense of self-worth and self-love. So much has been written about self-love, but few have a real understanding of what true love is. This book will help you get to a feeling of profound and unshakeable self-love.
