As Rhuna develops her skills to read people’s auras and learns the Great Secrets of the First Atlans, she is confronted by the possibility of losing a member of her family. At the same time, a strange new threat emerges from a distant land that affects Rhuna directly, distracting her from seeing a way to end the death and violence in the Black City.
Book Six in the series, Rhuna: A Quest for Ancient Wisdom can also be read as a standalone novel. In the mystical past, a highly advanced civilizations like Atlantis built pyramids and other megalithic structures with technology now lost and forgotten. This ancient legend tells of people with special abilities who can transform elements, such as sand to stone and lead to gold, with the concentrated power of the mind. They could also summon mental visions of faraway places and events, and call upon cosmic, solar, lunar and earth energies.
