Ughetto and Pandora's Christmas: Once upon a panettone

Ughetto and Pandora's Christmas: Once upon a panettone

Denise Muir
0/5 ( ratings)
Ughetto and Pandora’s Christmas is a story about how panettone, an Italian sweet bread loaf, was invented. The author took a pinch of this and a sprinking of that from a few of the legends surrounding the origins of panettone. He mixed all the ingredients together into an entertaining tale, added a generous dose of music, and found that it was to everyone’s taste. The story has been performed many times and in many ways: it was staged by students of a music academy using the original music and texts; it was turned into an audio book with new music added a few years ago; it also exists as an amateur film which can be viewed online. You are now looking at the newly-produced English version of the story with the author’s own illustrations.
