A Collection of Hurriedly Written Thoughts Half-Heartedly Disguised as Poetry is an exploration into self discovery and affirmation through the overwhelming power of poetry. The poems in this collection were written as young woman’s love for poetry began to take hold and take over. In these poems she found a voice, a way to express what she held within her heart.

This collection, written in the style of “internet poetry,” is broken up into three sections.
· Coming Clean - poems about realizing the depth of hurt and desire to be new again
· Climbing the Tower - poems about Fairy Tales and absolutely everything else
· Basking in the Light - poems about love, light, and the moments that make it all worth it

This book marks the beginning of one poet’s journey, told through poems that many will have no problem relating to. And don’t worry - the poems aren’t as long as the title.

About the Author
Kari N. Edge is a college student currently residing in the state of Iowa. An aspiring poet, she is passionate about education, mental health, and furthering her understanding of the world. She is also the founder and editor of Stretch Literary Journal.
