The Magic Camper Van & The Pirate Island

The Magic Camper Van & The Pirate Island

Matt Dawson
5/5 ( ratings)
The Peter’s family have recently moved from London to a quiet village in the East Midlands. Finances are a bit tight, on the spur of the moment Mr Peter’s stops at the strange cottage on the outskirts of the village after seeing an old camper van for sale on the drive.
There he meets Mrs Fletcher – a strange old lady who the local children believe is a witch. Mr Peter’s buys the van and wants to “treat” the children to a family holiday touring England.
The children are not particularly impressed with this idea, they would much prefer a sun and sea holiday abroad. However 12 year old Sam starts to notice unusual things about the van and warms to the idea.
The family travel to Blackpool and park on a camp site. However, the next morning the van is inexplicably parked on the edge of a warm sandy beach on a deserted Caribbean Island.
It becomes apparent that the van has somehow taken them to where one of the children dreamt about the night before – in this case an island where pirates had secretly buried treasure.
The family find several strange things about the van, things that will be useful on their adventures to come.
After setting out to explore the island they come across a small cave and find the treasure the pirates are searching for. Unfortunately all but Sam and his German Shepherd are captured by pirates and taken prisoner- can they rescue their family and escape the mysterious island?
