It was turning into a pretty cold winter.
A group of Senior People gathered together in a cosy living room and discussed how they could improve their fast-fading brain cells.
“Have you ever thought of publishing a book?" asked the group leader.
She was met with blank stares!
“I’m sure we could do it if we tried really hard."
And so it began...................

'Family Matters' is a collection of poems and writing by the Sunset Scribblers, members of Oswestry Borders U3A. It has been put together, less as a showcase for our writing talents but more as an exercise in compiling and publishing on the Internet. Loosely, the theme has been ‘The Family’ and the anthology is dedicated to our families, who have inspired and baffled us through the years.
