When the ducklings hatch, one is different than the others. For a while, her mother sticks up for her, but eventually she gets tired of it, and smacks the young duckling. Feeling alone, the young duckling takes off, looking for who she really is and where she fits in.This adventure was a great read, and I enjoyed the story! I look forward to sharing this book with students in the future!
