Ritual cannibalism.Author freebie. Suitable for teens and adults. A discussion about cannibalism. Is it true that many towns have a town cannibal?
I love it. I always love to slowly discover a new world, new culture, and new species, and this was a particularly rewarding trip. My only complaint was that the twist was visible a long way off yet the main character never bothered to think it through. Nonetheless, it still brought up a lot of good questions, and stands as a great story on its own.
My heartOh man this one was a bit sad for me. It also left me wanting more (nothing new there with these stories) this would be a series I would love to get into
Wow! I loved this story."This I Do For You" by Margaret Karmazin receives five stars from me. I loved the story, the mystery, I enjoyed trying to figure it out. Loved it. Karmazin does a good job of creating a new world quickly. I'm not sure what she used to model it after or even if it is real, but she brings you into the world quick enough that it is easy to accept it. Recommended: Oh yes!
Weird I sorta enjoyed this, I mean it was weird never really totally explaines who are what the characters are. But it was a decent short story.
It was an okay book, and I'm sure it will benefit some readers out there. But halfway through, I realized what the book was really about, and I wasn't a huge fan. It just seemed off to me.

Since he was five years old, he’s known he is special.Since his father died when he was born, he lives with his mother and grandmother and a family servant, and they feed him anything he wants...all day long.He has two brothers and a sister, but they have been sent to live with their aunts. They sometimes visit.Ah-Deet grows up living different from his siblings and the other children of the village. They get to go to school and play, and
Whoa....
Unusually cruelIt was interesting but you had a bit of an idea where it was leading at about the half way pointI got this book for free in exchange for an honest review
This is a really unusual story. It takes place on another planet with creatures that may be insectoid in appearance. They are born from eggs, they have four legs and it seems they have antenne. There is one main character who seems confined to the home, living only with his/her mother who constantly feeds the young one even though there is a bad harvest and food is running very low.The child is told nothing about the outside world and nothing about why it is not allowed to leave and why it is exp...
