Errol Baptiste have planned the book journey by written this subject title four years ago since 2015. He is a former anti-apartheid activist also study the Module of International Law in his fondest memory at Middlesex University of doing a Semester Abroad Placement at the University of Cape Town in South Africa during the 1997/1998 Academic Year also went on to graduated from Middlesex University two years later in 2000.
There are ten chapters on Arrival Milestone on Workers' Rights 100 Years of International Labour Organization 1919-2019 was founded by 44 countries on October 29, 1919, just 100 years ago after the conflict of World War I ended on November 11, 1918. It was part on the Treaty of Versailles by creating objectives based on social justice foundations in order to establish universal standards for fair and reasonable working conditions for all employees around the world in 1919.
The early 20th Century saw massive scale of industrialization across many countries, with the impact of factory child labour that includes huge increases on workplace accidents and deaths. The Treaty of Versailles in 1919 dictated that workers should be entitled to a fairer pay and conditions that would be promoted via International Labour Organization legislation as well through trade union rights, by setting the stage for its arrival milestone on workers' rights and the birth of International Labour Organization . It is now 100 years later in 2019, the ILO are still fighting for getting fair treatment of workers that includes social justice plus the continued support of human rights and workers' rights for all employees.
The Centenary Milestone in 2019, which the International Labour Organization is being 100 years old also their work is very important by linking co-operation between governments and employers plus workers' organizations by fostering social and economic progress. The International Labour Organization was founded 100 years ago on October 29, 1919, aims to ensure that it serves the needs of working women and men by bringing together governments, employers and workers by setting up labour standards, develop policies and devise programmes.
The foundation structure on the International Labour Organization where workers and employers together have an equal voice with governments in its deliberations, show social dialogue in action. It further ensures that the views of the social partners are closely reflected in International Labour Organization labour standards, policies and programmes.
The ILO encourages this tripartism with employers, workers and member states by promoting a social dialogue between trade unions and employers in formulating, and where appropirate, implementing national policy on social, economic and many other issues relating to workers' rights.
The work of the Governing Body and the International Labour Office which is aided by tripartite committees covering major industries. It is also supported by committees of experts on such matter as vocational training, management development, occupational safety and health, industrial relations, workers' education plus special problems of women and young workers.
International Labour Standards are backed up by a supervisory system that is unique at the international level and that helps to ensure that countries implement the ILO Conventions they ratify.
The International Labour Organization regularly examines the application of standards in member states and points out areas where they could be better applied.
