Az előítélet fogalma a legtöbbünkben negatív érzéseket és gondolatokat kelt. Általában együttérzünk az előítéletek áldozataival, és megpróbálunk vitatkozni az előítéletes emberek-kel. De vannak az életben olyan helyzetek is, amikor másokat gondolunk előítéletesnek, s köz-ben kiderül, hogy mi vagyunk azok. Ráadásul az előítéletek áldozatai sem mindig áldozatok. Ebben a kötetben olyan történeteket gyűjtöttünk össze, amelyek hol szomorú, hol derűs, hol abszurd képet festve mutatják be a mindennapjaink egyszerre banális és bonyolult történéseit. Mert alighanem az előítéletekkel kapcsolatban igaz a leginkább: nem minden és nem minden-ki az, aminek látszik.

The concept of discrimination normally evokes negative thoughts and feelings in us. We tend to feel bad for the victims of discrimination and we take it upon ourselves to try to come to terms with the ones being discriminative. And sometimes in life, it so happens, that we turn out to be prejudiced, even though we thought we were the ones being discriminated. Not to mention that, occasionally, the victims of discrimination are not all that innocent themselves, either. In this book, we collected stories of despair, sorrow and joy that depict our trivial but very complex everyday life in an absurd and honest way. It is safe to say that, there is more to discrimination, and us, than meets the eye.
