• Ketones do not get stored as fat, unlike glucose, as they do not get digested in the same way.
• The ketogenic diet also helps in reducing appetite by suppressing ghrelin, the hunger hormone. It also increases cholecystokinin, which gives a filling sensation.
• Too much inflammation is not good for health. A keto diet can lessen the levels of inflammation by switching off the inflammatory pathways.
• The ketogenic diet is also responsible for providing energy to the brain as well as increasing the energy.
