I Would Like to Meet a Saint: A Spiritual Diary

I Would Like to Meet a Saint: A Spiritual Diary

Aurelio Porfiri
0/5 ( ratings)
It is a common thing to write a personal diary, especially in our youth. But to write one when we are no longer young, and especially one that is concerned with the things of the spirit, is perhaps less frequent. I have been particularly inspired by the great example of the diary of Divo Barsotti, who has been a great inspiration for me.
I wrote this diary between June and September of 2016, between Hong Kong and Rome. I wrote it directly in English, a language which by now has become personal for me, though I am conscious of my limitations of style and grammar. But as I have said on many occasions, it is my hope that a spiritual rebirth, if there is one, will come from the Anglo-Saxon world. This diary therefore is a tribute to that rebirth.
