USA, 2054: People eat 3D-printed food, live in 3D-printed houses and – due to an experimental government program – can even make 3D 'human copies’ of themselves. 3D specimens. Human being can program their 3D specimens to perform any task to achieve any goal.
24-year-old Dave Delaney, in accordance with his father's last will & testament, must get married within 30 days. No marriage – then no inheritance. And Dave needs that money. But marriage is absolutely unattainable for Dave, who suffers from both uncontrolled outbursts of rage, and crippling shyness. Dave is forced to take action, and makes a risky decision – he creates his very own, exact human copy: Speciman.
The goal is clear: Speciman must do what Dave cannot. But suddenly other people – and other 3D specimens – enter Dave’s life and interfere with his plan. Things get out of control.
