The art has problems with proportions and consistency (i.e. where a character is in a scene in relation to certain objects.) They're not necessarily glaring problems, but there are a lot; it needed more editing. There are also problems with consistency in the story (i.e. (view spoiler)[how Betty and Veronica knew they were from another dimension. (hide spoiler)]) It's a very contrived story that just gets dumber and dumber. There are also a lot of "Oh, so you think we can't do this because we're...
[Read in single issues]Fun ride. Reading in single issue made it a little weird because of cut jumps and things lile that but overall a fun story even if it was a little patchy
Quick fun read. Not too much talking, stupidly funny cross over with nice art and silly humor. Surprisingly good, this one.
This crossover is such a ridiculous idea... yet it’s fucking amazing. What’s it about? There’s been a series of serial killings in Riverdale. Red Sonja and Vampirella are on the case, especially since it looks like a cult that Vampi is all too familiar with. Betty and Veronica are also trying to find out what’s happening for journalistic purposes. Time for a very interesting team-up!Why it gets 5-stars:The story is pretty good. It mixes darkness and fun perfectly for the characters which is pretty...
Ooof, this could have been great, but it’s just a mess. Red Sonja and Vampirella acting out of character, and a random, weak plot. It couldn’t have been worse.
Nice to see Archie take a seat, but overall I’m like…why does this whole book exist?!
Traditionally this is not the type of book I'd read. I'm a huge DC collector and I never really grew up reading Archie Comic's so I don't have any history with Riverdale crew.I wouldn't have bought this but I got a gift card for a specific book store and when I got there they didn't carry DC books...They had a huge Manga collection but when I spotted this Red Sonja & Vampirella Meet Betty & Veronica I found it oddly appealing... the cover was really cool and I didn't have a lot of time before a
I’d be more forgiving if the art had been better. The generic “realistic” style is ass-ugly, which defeats the purpose of a glorified T&A comic. The crossover stuff is fun enough, it’s the expected fish out of water jokes, but they work. Not so crazy about the multiverse stuff they hint at, but maybe it will make more sense in volume 2.
Although the story itself is a little lame (but I mean really what was I expecting from these four characters), it was fun and cute. I really enjoyed it!
On evil's trail, Vampirella and Red Sonja wind up in Riverdale. Will Betty and Veronica be enough help to stop the Cult of Chaos and their killing spree? As I've mentioned before, I'm an Archie guy from way back and I'm a sucker for any time the Riverdale gang gets involved in a crossover. I had this on my radar and my wife got me this for my birthday.I'll get the gripes out of the way first. This collects the first six issues of Red Sonja & Vampirella Meet Betty & Veronica but there's really onl...
The biggest problem with this whacko crossover isn’t that is fails to feel like an Archie comic. It’s that it feels very much like a Dynamite comic. Also, 25% of the total page count is variant covers and other filler. C’mon, people.
I've never read Red Sonja or Vampirella, but I love Archie comics and this looked pretty fun so I decided to give it a go. Overall, it was an enjoyable read with an interesting murder mystery. There was a decent amount of humor with Sonja and Vampirella trying to fit in as "exchange students" at Riverdale High. The cover art is incredible but I found the interior art to be inconsistent - some pages looked great and then the very next page would be super unflattering to the point where the charac...
Unbalanced team-up but still fun.
This book does not take the premise or the characters seriously and just invites the readers along for the ride. If you are looking for a fun and quickly moving story then checkout this trade. The plot is silly with moments of action and humor. The art by Maria Laura Sanapo and coloring by Vinicius Andrade and Mohan are Excellent. The art in the last chapter is a change up in style and coloring, but is still enjoyable.
This is easily the best comic I have read in a decade. No, seriously.I don't know what to say but Amy Chu is magnificent here and it is pure distilled fun from beginning to end. Of course it has the ARCHIE MEETS THE PUNISHER feel but it works so much better because Betty and Veronica as teen detectives gels much better with the duo of RED SONJA and VAMPIRELLA as antiheroes out to fight the Cult of Chaos active in Riverdale. The four are believably friends and have hilarious moment after hilariou...
I almost can’t believe how much I loved this. It’s so much fun and such a weird mix of characters. I can’t wait for the rest of the story!
This shouldn't at all work, yet somehow it does. Red Sonja and Vampirella come to Riverdale to investigate some vampire related murders. They meet up with Betty and Veronica, them go undercover at Riverdale High to catch the culprits as it's faculty and students that are being killed. Red Sonja is the highlight of this book. The fish out of water jokes are pretty funny and seeing her join the football team is hilarious. Yes, this book is ridiculous. Who cares? It's fun and I'm all in for all the...
I really enjoyed this crossover. Strange but enjoyable.
