Silent Thunder

Silent Thunder

Archie Macpherson
0/5 ( ratings)
Silent Thunder is the first novel by Archie Macpherson, well known and well-loved throughout Scotland as its premier sports announcer. Set in Glasgow and Fife, Silent Thunder follows the progress of two young Glaswegian working class males as they refuse to be bullied by greater force, and stand up for what they know to be right, at considerable danger to themselves. They show the Glasgow spirit, do the right thing and have a go despite the painful consequences for themselves. They quickly find themselves thrust headlong into a fast moving and highly dangerous adventure involving a Scots radio broadcaster, East European gangsters, a computer genius, and secret service agencies from at least 3 major world powers. Starting out on Glasgow back streets the action quickly widens out and ends up in Fife, with an explosive climax on the iconic Isle of May.
