Wow, what a twist!
Another excellent read from this author. Fantastic plot and good ending. Only criticism would be the speed with which the some of the characters changed their feeling frequently.
Oh the tangled webs. Does everyone have a secret? Or two or three? Even the closest of friends? That's what this book is about. Four close women who, throughout the book, find their friendships tested through secrets that are very much hidden. It was well written and a very quick read.
I thoroughly enjoyed this read as a change to my Psychological thrillers and I can recommend.
Okay PlotThe story was somewhat entertaining, but the punctuation and misspelled words were so distracting. I don’t know how this made it to press with the mistakes. I had to reread sentences due to lack of punctuation or punctuation in the wrong place. It was annoying.
Love her books...Enjoy each one and want more!!! Her character development is superb I think. I do get disappointed in the book description to get yu to read and then am a bit reluctant but each time I’m happily surprised. Will stop reading the book description and just go for it from now on.
Everything to loseThis read like the perfect soap opera of the rich and privileged. Or the illusion of it. What looks wonderful on the outside might not be the truth. There certainly was a lot of back stabbing going on.
Another brilliant read it is not often that you score a hat trick with one Author but M J Hardy has done this for me, I started this book late yesterday afternoon, woke up at 3.00 this morning and carried on, Such twists to her stories that keep you wanted to find out what happens next.
Kept me entertained enough to want to finish it. Would never claim its an amazing piece of literature but it's definitely not the worst thing I've ever read!
Riveting True psychological thriller- you won’t want to put it down. What could happen behind the gates of the The Chase, an exclusive gated community with 4 homes, 4 couples and everyone has deep secrets. Four women with multi-faceted lives, friends-at least on the surface- and secrets. The writing, editing and proofing are well-done. This author writes interesting characters, a tight storyline with plenty of shocks along the way.
