Meaghan Carter
4.4/5 ( ratings)
went to the museum and all I got was-- an Egyptian God??

Godslave has all the magic, flair and family drama of Egyptian Mythology, with monster fights and the bond between a God and the girl tricked into working for him.

While taking a year off university to figure out what she really wants in life, Edith becomes embroiled in a Pantheon-sized family feud turned war. All over a bunny-eared dog in a canopic jar.

When Edith accidentally frees a god from his prison, he grants her one of his Ba- an embodiment of his power- to help fight off their pursuers.

The god claims to be Anubis, and that he was imprisoned in the canopic jar by his family. He tasks Edith with collecting the rest of his Ba and returning him back to his true form.

Edith struggles with trusting Anubis, and her conscience, when she realizes she enjoys the fighting. She faces off against gods, monsters, Horus' iron Blacksmith soldiers, and her doubts about this dog calling himself Anubis.
