It was originally produced on stage in 2003 by Michigan State University College of Arts and Letters. It has been produced in different languages around the world and in 2012 was adapted into an award-winning feature film.The Tulsa World called the Heller Theater production of Pruning the Family Tree “a miraculous achievement.”
