The story on this was great, and Neve McIntosh's narration was great...for everything except the Doctor. Her Tenth Doctor voice sounded nothing like him. :/
Brilliant! A very fitting story for ten. Dare I say it wouldn’t be suited to any other Doctor? Maybe Six.Very well put together and ends brilliantly.
A slow burner, takes a long time to get going but is ok in the end, and ties in a nice bit of continuity too
My first Doctor Who audio story. A short one, but very enjoyable with a very cool concept, which was why I chose to listen to it. I like how it ties in with the episode The Waters of Mars and I'll definitely listen to it again :)
One caveat for this is that the narrator's 'voice' for the Doctor sounded absolutely nothing like Ten, LOL 😅, but if you can get over that, this was a nice little short trip.
The Shattered Hourglass is a Doctor Who Short Trip from Big Finish. The Short Trips started as printed short story collections from I think Virgin and then BBC Books and finally Big Finish. After the book run ended, Big Finish started doing audio Short Trips with four volumes of eight stories each, one for each Classic Doctor (including McGann). After those four (which were originally released on CD), Big Finish switched to download-only single releases. The audio Short Trips are read by a singl...
The doctor takes on the time agency over a planets destruction.
Nice little story, if a bit predictable. But very well performed.
