Most girls wouldn’t be excited to walk into a prison. I’m not most girls.

After spending the last eighteen months training as a Healer’s assistant, I’m ecstatic to start work inside Blakemore Supernatural Prison.

Then I make the mistake of reading the thoughts of my very first patient.

What do I hear?

I’ll be dead by Friday.

Now I have four days to save him. Four days to learn who I can trust and who I can’t inside these walls.

Normally, a gorgeous, flirtatious vampire isn't the one I would go to for help.

Kurt is much too charming. Much too tempting.

And it's much too convenient that he shows up in the middle of an attempted prison break.

Something dark is happening inside Blakemore Prison.

And if I can’t find out what it is, I might lose myself to the same darkness.
