What a great idea--combine the morality of the Berenstain Bears with Disney styled fairy tales AND add art work derivative of the most current popular illustrator! I'll give the author credit though for NOT lifting the plot completely from a much better picture book as she did in her Snow White book.Little girls will enjoy these. That's a statement, not a compliment.
I love the illustrations in this book; Tameika's expressions are so cute!

This is sweet but I do love the first entry into the series better. Recommended though, especially for families that are getting new members.
The companion book to "Not Quite, Snow White," Tameika struggles with the arrival of her twin siblings, the changes they bring to the family, and the displacement she feels during her shining moment as Cinderella.

A really sweet sibling story that assures older kids that they haven’t lost any of their parents love, and that even though there are challenges to having younger siblings, there are great advantages too.

What an adorable story! I loved reading about Tameika's little world! I honestly felt that this story gave a realistic understanding of what goes through a child's head when they are expecting a new sibling! I loved her best friend Khadijah, and how she wore hijab.
