Rose Goodwin has been alone on her little Italian ranch for six months. After a horse riding accident drove her husband Thomas to gambling, he racked up more debt than he could handle. And he left her.

Twins Ben and Ethan aren’t speaking. When their parents separated, Ben put his dreams on hold and stayed at the ranch to help his mother. He’s been doing the ‘long-distance’ thing with his girlfriend Juliana, but it’s not working out. And instead of being sympathetic, Ethan – who sided firmly with his father – simply says that Ben should have had the guts to leave the ranch a long time ago.

Will Rose find a solution to everyone’s problems? Or will Thomas’s return, just days before Amelie’s wedding, upend everything she’s achieved since he left?
