I liked the characters. There was a lot of suspense and a good balance of us getting the right information at right time. There were a few unbelievable parts but mostly plausible events happen. I think I realized glass in automobiles are tempered and don't come as shards after an accident but a million pieces. Also if you've been shot in torso you probably don't straddle someone like a week after release from hospital. I chose to over look to keep story going, I guess.I think author has a thing
Another winner by Jen! She is quickly becoming my new favorite author! 4.5 stars.
I rated this book a 3.25. Life can not be defined by being black or white or grey. It's how a person decides to live their life that truly defines who they are.The author knows how to write about damaged characters in a way that tantalizes the reader with interest and questions; all leading to a storyline that keeps the reader engaged. This story is a well written plot that is intense with a dash of suspense, angst and a extremely slow burn relationship between Cooper and Abbie. This book was we...
Hartmann is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. This is my third book of hers and I wasn't sure if I could love these characters as much as I did from her first book. Boy, I was wrong. Not only did I fall in love with the main characters but I found myself completely loving the secondary characters. I enjoyed this book so much I even reread it in about a two week period. Jennifer, truly knews how to keep readers connected so be warned if you are anything like me you WILL lose sleep bing...
Don’t make this your first Hartmann book!!This was my third book by Jennifer Hartman and I am so, so, so glad it wasn’t my first because it is not an adequate representation of how incredibly talented she is!! CLAWS & FEATHERS was not terrible, it’s a decent story, but it’s slooooooow and just mediocre with nothing extraordinarily impressive about it. If this had been my first book by Hartmann, I wouldn’t have read any more since my theory is that life is too short to settle for mediocre books.
Enjoyed this book a lot.
This is the second book I have read by Hartmann and I absolutely loved both books. From what I saw she also has a duet I haven’t read yet but I have now added to my kindle to read because she has definitely made the list of my favorite authors. There are moments that the emotion hit like a punch to the stomach and I honestly had to fight any tears a time or two, I tend to get emotional when I get into a book. This book truly kept my attention and while I was upset I didn’t have as much time to re...
This book is absolutely PHENOMENAL! Abigail has not had the easiest life. She has taken one blow after another and always manages to get back up...until she's kidnapped and held captive in the back of a van. Cooper, a devoted cop, finds her just before dehydration takes her life. From the moment Cooper and Abby first meet there is a spark between them but due to the fact that Cooper is the leading officer on her case he's reluctant to act on his feelings. Cooper is determined to find out who kid...
