4⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Style: Dark Bully Romance (High School) Story: 3.5/5Enjoyment: 4/5Dark Level: 2/5 Sexual Level: GOOD Triggers: YesViolence: Yes Male: Popular & Stoic Series: Book 3Pages: loc. 4728 Audio: N/AKindle Unlimited: YesSTORY: I hate to see this series end. Book 1, I loved it, book 2, I found it ok, and book 3, reminds me of book 1 and why I loved this series. I walked in book 3 despising Madeline. If you’ve read book 1, you understand why. Eric is my hero. I got to see him in his own story. He...
‧͙⁺˚*・༓☾☆ 4.25 stars ☆☽༓・*˚⁺‧͙TW// rape and domestic violence. I love me some good anti-heroine story. If you’ve read the first two books, you had to hate Madeline at least once or twice. She was a bitch. I was wondering what her story was going to be and I was curious to see her past friendship with Eric. This didn’t disappoint. I have to say, I couldn’t stop reading it. At around the 60-70%, the book did felt a little bit stale and I felt like the story needed SOMETHING, but soon a lot of thin...
Whoa. What a finale! Eric and Madeline's past is an extremely INTENSE one. Their love story isn't as dramatic as that of Christian & Haley's (All the Little Lies), nor is it as sweet as that of Ollie & Piper's (All the Little Secrets); theirs is the kind filled with nasty lies, dirty secrets, and unspeakable truths. Their families are a mess, their friends are...well, do they even have real friends? And everything they think they know may turn out to be a big friggin' joke. Yeah, so basically, t...
I received an ARC of this book in return for an honest review.I’m really not sure where to start! This book was absolutely brilliant. I thought I loved the first two books in the English Prep series but this one blew those out of the water. Eric and Madelines story was truly amazing. It had me consumed from the first pages. I wasn’t sure if I would even like Madelines character after knowing how awful she was in the the first two books. However, Sammi wrote her character so well, her backstory w...
OMG! What an ending for the English Prep series!SJ Sylvis just nailed it!! I never thought I would feel anything else that ‚hatred‘ for Maddie, after we met her in the first two books. Boy was I wrong! Oh so wrong. I was a blubbering mess reading her story and couldn’t put this book down!! Eric and Maddie are neighbors for a very long time, and we’re friends as well, until Maddie changed and shut him out. A recent discovery made Eric despise her a lot.Page after page we find out what’s happening...
Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️This book destroyed me in all the right ways. I binged the first two books in January in one day. (I actually binged all of her books in three days because they’re all just THAT good!) I feel in love with Christian and Ollie in the first two books of this series, so to say I was beyond ecstatic for Eric is an understatement! I was hesitant about Madeline though after reading about her in the ATLL and ALTS. She was not my favorite, putting it nicely,
‼️TW: rape, domestic violence, drug use, bullying, sexual harassment I got to know this book through booktok and I'm glad, because this book has all those troops I love: enemies to lovers, touch her and I kill you.... But it's not just a clichéd teenage romance. It was much deeper than that and that was one of the things I enjoyed reading about this book. I'll explain later.Once again this book is part of a trilogy and I read the last one 🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ (I've given up trying to read a series for the...
This is the third and final book in the English Prep series and I must say that I have enjoyed all three books and it kind of makes me sad that this journey is over. This book is about Eric and Madeline, whom we have met in the previous two books. I must admit that I was a little bit suspicious about Madeline, because I didn't like her character in the other two books. But this book portrayed her perfectly, we finally got to see what made her the way she is, what she has gone through, what has m...
Madeline (Maddie FMC) hasnt done herself any favors in the last two books. She was bitchy and a bully with very little redeemable qualities. The tables have turned in this book for her though and the Queen Bee has lost her Crown. Shes now the focus of a whole school they take great pleasure in bullying her with Eric & his friends enjoying her torment. Maddie & Eric have a long history together being childhood friends but events in Maddies life got in the way & they fell out of being friends. Onl...
I received this ARC in exchange for my honest review. Little Truths does have trigger warnings as it touches on abuse, sexual assault, and suicide. This book is the third and final book in the English Prep Series. While it’s a series each book could be read as a stand alone. I however, recommend reading the series from the beginning to get a full understanding of the characters. This book is on Eric and Madeline and honestly I am not even sure where to begin with this review. I was really interes...
4.5 stars!! Wow! Just wow! What a way to end a series! I love Eric! When I first heard this book would be about sweet Eric and the bully Madeline I was thinking, what!?!? Not Eric! But this book wasn’t anything I expected and everything I could have wanted in the final book in this series by this talented author. This book should come with trigger warnings. It’s intense! The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars for me is because I rate 5 star books by how much crying or goosebumps I get. While ther...
5 BIG STARS FOR THIS ORIGINAL STORY!What if the villain wasn't a villain at all? This story is about Madeline and Eric. Eric has just recently found out that his dad has been cheating on his mum with Madeline's mother for years?! And to make matters worse, Madeline has known for all this time! However, underneath Madeline's tough and bitchy exterior lies a woman who has been through hell and back, facing rape and domestic violence. Eric is making sure that Madeline pays for what she did or rathe...
Okay, real talk. I am OBSESSED with this series. Like it’s my favorite and I don’t want it to end EVER. I’ve fallen so hard for these beautiful and broken characters. But Eric was always a mystery to me and frankly, I thought Madeline was a heinous bitch. I had no idea what was in store for these two and holy mother! I. Was. Shooketh.I was on pins and needles throughout the entire book. Everything I thought I knew was turned upside down and I found myself aching to hug Madeline and swimming in a...
The final book of the English Prep series was so much more than I anticipated! SJ Sylvis knows how to completely break my heart into tiny pieces and then slowly put them back together! I absolutely loved Eric and Madeline’s story! Finally getting to know Madeline’s history and see how the relationship with Eric changed really brought the series to a close! You will not be disappointed with how this one plays out. The lead female character is strong and independent, but somewhat broken and weak.
4.5*this is my favourite book in the series!!! i loved maddie and eric so much!! there was not a boring moment throughout, and kept me engaged all the way through. i loved the way the book dealt with the trauma of her rape and domestic abuse and it was so heartbreaking to read but i genuinely loved it.reading the first two books i wasn’t sure how there would be a way that would make me sympathise with maddie and like her as a whole. BUT I WAS SOOOO WRONG! within the first few chapters i instantl...
4.25/5 — barely hanging on to my sanity, ericmaddie has me on a chokehold
Oohhh the angst! And that ending! Like damn talk about intense. I loved this series like a lot and am happy that this conclusion to the series lived up to the rest of it!
All the Little Truths by SJ Sylvis⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Pub Date: 3/25/21This is the third book in the English Prep series and, in my opinion, she saved the best for last. Madeline was the queen bee and bully everyone feared. Until the tables turned and the bully became the bullied. Eric and Maddie were close friends when they were younger and he had a soft spot for his sweet neighbor Madeline but, over the years, she changed becoming a cold, callous bully. No one bothered to ask why...until Eric sets his s...
5 STARS🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Before I start my review I do want to point out the fact that although this book can be read as a standalone, I would definitely encourage people to read ATLL and ATLS before reading ATLT. I think reading the other two books helps you get a better understanding of the situation and the characters.I said I was going to wait until the weekend to start this book, but as soon as I saw it on my kindle I knew there was no way I could wait. I read this book in one sitting, because I just CO...
Have I just binged this whole series in the span of a week? Why yes, I have indeed and there are no regrets. As a huge fan of high school romances and enemies to lovers, this series was all I needed right now.I highly suggest you start with Book 1 so you can really meet and fall for all the characters leading up to this book.Madeline and Eric's story is a tough one. It's an unexpected one and one that will have you falling harder than you imagine.Madeline has become an outcast at school after bei...
